Hypnotherapy is a guided trance-like state of focus and concentration achieved with the help of a hypnotherapist. This state of being is similar to when you are completely absorbed in a book, movie, music, or even your own thoughts or meditations. In this state, you can turn your attention completely inward to find and utilize the natural resources deep within yourself that can help you make changes or regain control in certain areas of your life.

Your mind

You know that constant chatter or conversation you have with yourself? Sometimes it's repetitious like a hamster on a wheel. How is that self-talk serving you? Isn't it time to free it from the cage inside your mind? Train your mind to see the good in everything. Positivity is a choice. The happiness in your life depends on the quality of your thoughts

Your level of commitment

Hypnosis only works if you want it to work. You must have the belief and desire to change the habit or behavior to get the results you truly long for..

Your hypnotic capacity

Have you ever driven to work, arrived and don't remember driving there? Have you ever waited at a red light and suddenly realized that the person in the car behind you is honking his horn because the light has changed? Do you ever become so involved in a book or TV program that you lost all awareness of time? These are examples of a hypnotic trance or state of mind.

Results oriented

Hypnotherapy is used for pain management, anxiety, test taking and memory retention, dentistry, surgery preparation, overcoming addictions, fears and phobias, stress management, smoking, eating disorders, insomnia, self esteem, PTSD, sex abuse and any pattern or belief that is keeping you from living your life to the fullest!

What to expect

Hypnotherapy is  performed in a relaxed, therapeutic environment. You will be asked to to set an intention before we begin on something you want to change in your life. I will guide you in a focused state and ask you to think about experiences and situations in positive ways that can help you change the way you think and behave. You will never  be out of control of yourself and you can stop at any time. You will hear my positive suggestions, but it is up to you to decide whether or not to act on them.

Conscious v.s. Subconscious mind

Your conscious mind is where your critical and logical thinking reside along with your will power and long term memory.

Your subconscious mind controls involuntary actions for your heart to beat, your eyes to blink, the rate you breathe, etc. This is also where your emotions of anxiety, fear or depression and habits hide along with your beliefs, intuition and memories.
